The trip to Atlanta...

We start this adventure by "Tom Sawyering" Tyler Mysyk into taking Carter, Auz, Nola and I to the airport Saturday am May 10.

This is going to be fun Tyler "Honest"!

The big grin on Tylers face could be because someone just pinched his butt. Hmmmmmm.

We are impressed with Ty. He is a great young man. Ty is now in the MTC in England, and will be away on his Mission for the next 2 years. A genuine good guy, we will miss you Elder Mysyk.

Our next 10 days were spent in Atlanta. We all stayed with the Chaloux Family. When we say "All" that means Holly, Jared, their 2 little ones, Carter, Auz, Nola and I. Yep all 8 of us were invited to stay with the Chaloux's. Their kindness and immense generosity can not be understated. Our “Dylan wedding experience” was significantly enhanced because we all stayed together and could continuously interact, play, plan, eat, swim, and be noisy together, the Chaloux’s, the Murray’s the Bishop’s, and now the Daugherty’s. All under one fantastic roof.

Thank you to Mike, Rhonda, Mattie, and Zach.

The Chaloux Family are whom Dylan (formerly known as DD or D'd or Dot) has been working for and living with for the past bit of time while she has been in the Atlanta area. We are extremely grateful that Mike and Rhonda have enjoyed, tolerated, been blessed by and wondered about this young girl that came into their world as a live in aupere, and who is now a young married woman. Thank you hardly seems sufficient, notwithstanding Thank You, all of you.

We settled into Mike and Rhonda's home by about 10:30 Saturday evening and then got up on Mother's Day and went to Church with Dylan and Shawn and returned to the Chaloux castle to do wedding stuff, and laugh. We visited, and worked a little, played "remember when", talked, did crossword puzzles and went to bed late. This was a great day, it was wonderful to be together, to tease, play, work, chat, and enjoy ourselves in such a comfortable environment. Hmmmmmm, nice.

Carter and Nola became crossword addicts, I've recomended a 12 step program to get them over the aquired addiction to crosswords. That's Holly peaking through the flowers, the silliness was non stop. It was wonderful to be together. Are you sick of hearing that?

Our next adventure was to take in the Atlanta Aquarium. We got up got organized and headed into downtown Atlanta. The Aquarium was absoutly a treat. Here's a bit of a photo essay of our field trip to the Fish Zoo!

Holly smokes this fish zoo is amazing. There were 2 whale sharks along with thousands of fish in the large 'ocean' tank. This is a pretty cool place.

Yikes Grandma.... this is a little scarry.....

It's late and I'm goin' to bed.... Next group of pictures will be up in the next few days. So stand by for the wedding day shots....

A trip to Atlanta and no mention of Apples to Apples? That's not very "cream corn" of you! It was a pleasure to host such a wonderful family who can have a great time doing just about anything, or nothing at all! Thanks for your amazing family and for sharing this special event with us! Hunter would like to come back and go swimming (he called to tell us), and we would love to see you all again! Our house is way too quiet since you left. Take care! The Chaloux Family
